We were approached by a family who required a live-in carer for their relative who was diagnosed with dementia. Initially, the lady was being cared for by her husband who sadly passed away. The family were concerned that a swift move into a care home would be extremely unsettling for her, so wanted to explore what care plans were available to her.

Based on her needs, we recommended a 24-Hour Live-In Care Package. Personal care, meal preparation and medication support are among some of the day-to-day tasks the live-in carer supports with. The family were concerned that she would feel lonely following the loss of her husband, but the live-in carer makes her feel safe and keeps her occupied which gives them complete peace of mind.

She continues to enjoy life in her own home and looks forward to going to her local clubs and social events.
