We have been supporting a gentleman with a part-time live-in care package after sadly losing part of his vision. He was adamant he didn’t want to go into a care home, so we felt assigning a part-time live-in carer fitted the bill perfectly. The carer assists with his cooking, washing, cleaning and any other household tasks he may find difficult without full vision.

He has managed to maintain his independence, with the help of his carer, and he couldn’t be more pleased. His confidence came flooding back, so much so he’s just returned from a 2-week cruise!

Unfortunately, following 2 weeks in the sun his vision deteriorated further which called for a 24-Hour Live-In Care Package. Nevertheless, he still visits his friends and family and loves life.
